This genuine Miele floor brush is 12" wide and 2.5" deep, having brush strips with long bristles along the front and back edges of the nozzle. Wheels on the sides carry the weight and downward pressure on the nozzle, allowing the bristles to glide on the floor without being flattened. Notches in the front brush strip allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. This floor brush's elbow has two tabs which hold this nozzle more securely in the parking slots on the Miele S500i and S600i series canisters. It also mates perfectly with the parking slots on the Miele vacuums in their S200i, S300i and S400i series canister vacuums.
Miele has discontinued this floor brush. The Miele SBB Parquet-2 has better quality bristles so it is a good alternative. View Larger Image

This steel 5 3/4" long attachment adapter is not made by Miele but fits on all Miele Canister plus U1, S7 and Universal Upright hoses and wands to enable the use of standard USA 1 1/4" attachments. These include attachments on Shop-Vac, Eureka, many Electrolux models and some Hoover uprights plus various other USA brands. You will find a number of attachments for use with this adapter described on our Attachments to fit American Standard Size Vacuums page.
This adapter will not fit the Miele Powerhouse Uprights since their attachments fit inside the hose and wands. For these vacuums use the Miele Powerhouse Upright to 1 1/4" Adapter instead of this one.

The cog type belt provides positive power transfer from its turbine to the brush roll. This Turbobrush has a two tabs on its elbow to mate with the parking slots on the Miele S200i, S300i, S400i, S500i and S600i series canister vacuums.

Its metal attachment end mates with all their standard attachments. This hose does not have electric wiring for use with a power nozzle. This hose is designed for the Nilfisk GD, GM and GS series vacuums. It will not fit the newer Family Vacuums.
