Efficient HEPA Sealed Filtration System

The HEPA sealed vacuum filtration system in this Sanitaire System_Pro SP6950A canister vacuum retains 99.97% of pollens, household dust, dust mites and other allergens as small as 0.3 µm (micrometers - formerly microns) in size. This is a great help for those who suffer from dust related allergies as well as for asthma sufferers. With this series of vacuum cleaners with HEPA exhaust filters, the manufacturer has created an air tight sealed system, preventing dust leakage through joints in the case which is so common in many competing vacuums with HEPA filters.

The fanfold design of the HEPA filter provides a very large filtering surface for reduced resistance to air flow. The high filtration paper bag and electrostatic filter remove most of the dust particles before they reach the HEPA filter to enhance performance by ensuring good air flow through the system.

It is designed as a combination tool with a top mounted lever to switch between carpets and bare floors. For bare floors, brush strips around the parameter pop out to provide soft, non-scratching brushing action. Notches along the front allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. For carpets and rugs, the brush strips are recessed, allowing the channeled steel sole plate to contact the carpet, pulling air through the nap to clean it.
