Multi-Layer Filtration System

The Miele HomeCare Turbo Team uses a multi-layer filtration system which increases the life of the high filtration exhaust filter. The air passes through their high filtration AirClean Bag and a secondary electrostatic filter before reaching the special exhaust filter. Each layer of filtration captures more particles as the air passes through them. Ideally, multi-layer filtration enhances performance by ensuring good air flow through the system. It prevents large particles from reaching and blocking the exhaust filter, saving it for critical particle retention.

The powerful 1200 Watt, Miele Vortex suction motor produces plenty of suction for cleaning low to medium nap carpeted floors when used with its SEB 217-3 Powerbrush. This high performance motor has fan parts that are aerodynamically designed with no parallel surfaces and nine long fan scoops compared to the typical six shorter ones. Electronic Motor Speed Control

The Compact C1 HomeCare Turbo Team vacuum is also equipped with six different motor speed settings which adjusts the air flow, giving you complete control when you clean. The stainless steel telescopic wand on the HomeCare Turbo Team Compact C1 vacuum cleaners can be adjusted to match your individual stature. For storage, it collapses to about half height to save storage space. It is well sealed at all joints to maintain Miele's outstanding performance. Combination Rug/Bare Floor Nozzle

The Miele Compact C1 HomeCare Turbo Team canister is packaged with the SBD 365-3 Combination Rug/Bare Floor Nozzle which can be used on bare floors as well as low nap carpets. If you have a lot of non-carpeted floors you may wish to purchase the optional SBB 300-3 Parquet Twister Floor Brush which is even nicer with its long, soft bristles.

This deluxe combination tool has a top mounted lever to switch between carpets and bare floors. For bare floors brush strips along the front and back pop out to provide non-scratching brushing action. Notches along the front allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. For carpets and rugs, the brush strip can be recessed, allowing the channeled sole plate to contact the carpet, pulling air through the nap to clean it. The elbow has a long tab which holds this nozzle securely in the parking slots on the sides and back of this vacuum.

Air Driven TurboTeQ Nozzle for Carpets

The Miele Compact C1 HomeCare Turbo Team canister comes complete with the Miele STB 305-3 TurboTeQ nozzle for cleaning most area rugs and carpets. It incorporates a turbine to obtain its power to drive the 10 1/2" wide revolving brush roll from the air flow passing through the system. By doing so, it is drawing power from the main suction motor, actually reducing the air flow through the system. A cog type belt is used to provide positive power transfer from the turbine to the brush roll. Since this nozzle does not require electric to operate, it can be used on the standard non-electric hose.

The Miele HomeCare Turbo Team is designed for those with limited amounts of carpeted floors who can't justify the higher cost of a vacuum with a motorized powerbrush. For those desiring a similar vacuum with motorized powerbrush, consider the Miele Complete C3 Kona Power Team with their SEB 228 Powerbrush. The powerbrush on the Miele Kona actually adds more power to the system instead of drawing its power from the air flow as this vacuum's TurboTeQ nozzle does.

Convenient Snap-on Attachment Storage

The Miele Compact C1 HomeCare Turbo Team vacuum carries its three small attachments on a snap-on VarioClip™ that can be attached to the hose at the vacuum. The dusting brush has soft bristles to protect your hard furniture while the upholstery nozzle has two red strips which are like the "magic lint brushes", capturing the lint, hairs and threads and then cleaning themselves on the reverse stroke as you clean your soft upholstered furniture. Also included is a crevice tool for reaching into those tight corners.

Whisper Quiet Canister Operation

For many years Miele vacuums cleaners have been much quieter than most vacuums. More recent series have become even quieter in their operation. Their S6 compact vacuum series set a new standard of very low level sound levels. When used with their STB 305-3 Turbobrush the sound level is increased slightly although still very quiet.

All Three Wheels Swivel 360°

The Miele HomeCare Turbo Team vacuum cleaners are designed to track nicely behind you as you pull them by the hose. They are equipped with three wheels which turn a full 360° making them very easy to maneuver and very stable. Going over electrical cords, door thresholds and around furniture is a breeze.
