This Miele SBD 385-3 AllTeQ is a combination tool with a top mounted lever to switch between carpets and bare floors. For bare floors brush strips along the front and back pop out to provide non-scratching brushing action. Notches along the front allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. For carpets and rugs, the brush strips can be recessed, allowing the channeled sole plate to contact the carpet, pulling air through the nap to clean it. This attachment is similar to the SBD 365-3 AllTeQ but has squeegee type blades behind and in front of the sole plate channel for enhance performance. The wand connector has a long tab on its elbow to mate with the parking slots on the Miele S2, S4, S5, S6, S8, C1, C2 and C3 Series canister vacuums.   For similar products see our list of current Miele Vacuum Accessories.
