This Recovery Tank Lid is for use on all earlier Hoover SteamVacs. These tanks have a lever on each side to lock it on the SteamVac. The hose adapter is manually attached to the front of the tank and removed again to use the main nozzle.

This is the Deluxe Wire-Reinforced Stretch Hose used on the better Hoover WindTunnel uprights which use paper bags. The machine end is 1 1/2" in diameter with two locking pins which hold it in the vacuum. The attachment end is extra large to fit over the Hoover WindTunnel wands and attachments. This is a standard length hose, not an extra long.

This Deluxe Hoover floor brush is 12" wide and 2.5" deep, having brush strips with long natural hair bristles along the front and back edges of the nozzle. These bristles will not curl and mat like synthetic ones tend to do.
Soft vinyl wheels on the sides between the brush strips carry the weight and downward pressure on the nozzle, allowing the bristles to glide on the floor without being flattened. Notches in the front brush strip allow dirt to easily enter the nozzle. View Larger Image

This WindTunnel Bagless Secondary Filter fits below the Twin Chamber® Dirt Container. It is visable throught the hole in its cover plate. The filter measures 5 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 1/4" with rounded ends. There is a 3/8" hole in the center through which the cover plate screw passes. While the earlier filters were green as shown, Hoover's later ones are white.
