This 128 oz. bottle of Hoover SteamVac Advanced Carpet Detergent is
designed for use in the Hoover SteamVac units for cleaning carpets and
upholstered furniture. It can also be used in other brands of hot water
extractors (steam vacs). Also available is a smaller
48 oz. bottle of Hoover
SteamVac Advanced Carpet Detergent.

This 32 oz. bottle of Hoover SteamVac Floor Cleaner is designed for use
in the Hoover SteamVac units to clean bare floors. It can also be used in
other brands of hot water extractors (steam vacs).
This 32 oz. bottle of Hoover SteamVac Spot and Stain Cleaner Spray is designed for
use with the Hoover SteamVac units on those heavily soiled areas of your
carpets and upholstered furniture. It can also be used with other brands
of hot water extractors (steam vacs).
This miniature light bulb is for use in most later Hoover uprights. It
is only 3/4" in diameter and about 1 1/2" long. One end is flat with
wires which make contact when it is pushed straight into the light socket.
For earlier uprights and power nozzles which use a bulb having a metal
base that locks in with a twist (bayonet style), see 25 Watt Bulb and 15
Watt Bulb.
This genuine Hoover HEPA Cartridge
Filter fits inside the Twin Chamber™ Dirt Container on all Hoover Bagless
uprights. It consists of a cylinder shaped cartridge with fanfold filter
media between the black vinyl ends. This long life filter
has a coating similar to teflon which makes it very easy to clean. It can
even be washed by holding it under running water. Hoover recommends replacing
this filter every three to six months. This filter package #40140201 contains
one "Type 201" filter #42611049. It was previously known as filter #43611042.
This fanfold design provides a large filter media area for reduced
resistance to air flow while producing a very high level of filtration
which meets the stringent HEPA specification.

This genuine Hoover WindTunnel HEPA
Cartridge Exhaust Filter fits in a door on the side of the vacuum. It
consists of fanfold filter media in a black plastic cartridge. The
cartridge measures 10 15/16" x 3 3/8" x 1/2". This design provides a
large filter media area for reduced resistance to air flow. The air
flowing through this filter will be cleaned to the stringent HEPA
specification. Unfortunately, when installed, this HEPA exhaust filter has gap about
1/16" wide around it instead of a seal around the frame or in the vacuum
cleaner body so some air and fine dust can easily bypass this filter,
substantually decreasing its effectiveness. This is not the case for the
Hoover WindTunnel Exhaust Filter in White Frame
which is interchangeable with this HEPA filter.
This genuine Hoover WindTunnel Cartridge Exhaust Filter fits in a door
on the side of the vacuum. It consists of fanfold filter media in a white
plastic cartridge. The cartridge measures 10 15/16" x 3 3/8" x 1/2". This
design provides a large filter media area for reduced resistance to air
flow while producing a high level of filtration. There is a seal around the perimeter of the frame which seals against
the opening in the vacuum's body. While this looks similar to a WindTunnel
HEPA Exhaust Filter shown above, Hoover makes no claim that it filters to
that stringent specification.
This genuine Hoover HEPA Exhaust Filter Cartridge fits all Hoover
Savvy, "Dual V" and "V2 Technology" uprights. It is typically used when
these vacuums are configured for use with paper bags. The
Hoover V2 Tech. Foam Exhaust Filter is typically
used in the bagless configuration. The fanfold design provides a large filter media area for reduced
resistance to air flow while producing a very high level of filtration
which meets the stringent HEPA for the air which passes through it. This
filter cartridge is slightly curved with a seal on its back edge. Not
counting its latch and mounting tabs it is 6 1/8" x 5 3/8" x 1 1/4" in
size.
This genuine Hoover Foam Exhaust Filter fits all Hoover
Savvy, "Dual V" and "V2 Technology" uprights. It is typically used when
these vacuums are configured as bagless uprights. The
Hoover V2 Tech. HEPA Exhaust Filter is typically
used when configured for using paper bags. This foam filter is
6 1/8" x 5 1/4" x 1/2" in size.
This green WindTunnel Primary Filter fits in the bag
chamber below the paper bag. The filter measures 5" x 2 3/16" x
3/8" with a rectangle notched out of the one corner. This filter has
replaced the WindTunnel Layered Primary Filter #38765023.
This WindTunnel Bagless Secondary Filter fits below the Twin
Chamber™ Dirt Container. It is visable throught the hole in its cover
plate. The filter measures 5 5/8" x 2 1/2" x 1/4" with rounded ends. There
is a 3/8" hole in the center through which the cover plate screw passes.
While the earlier filters were green as shown, Hoover's later ones are white.
This package #40110006 contains two Multi-Colored Layered Upright Exhaust
Filters #38766021. Each filter fits inside a door on the side of the WindTunnel
Bagless uprights. Each filter measures 10 7/16" x 3 5/16" x 1/2" and
consists of a green layer, yellow layer and white layer. If you need the multi-colored exhaust filter which is only 6 5/8" long,
see the Layered Upright Exhaust Filter shown below.
This package #40110004 contains two Multi-Colored Layered Upright Exhaust
Filters #38766009. Each filter fits inside a door on the side of the Standard Bagless
uprights and Non-Self-Propelled WindTunnel uprights. Each filter measures
6 5/8" x 3 5/16" x 1/2" and consists of a green layer, yellow layer and
white layer. For the longer 10 7/16" multi-colored layered filter, see the
Bagless WindTunnel Exhaust Filter shown above. If
you need to remove the bag chamber lid to gain access to the exhaust filter
and it fits in a white holder which pivots out from beside the bag chamber,
then you need the Green WindTunnel Exhaust Filter.
This green WindTunnel Exhaust Filter fits in a white holder which
pivots out from beside the bag chamber. The filter measures 6 5/8" x 2
1/4" x 5/16" with the one end slightly curved. The bag chamber lid must be removed to gain access to the white filter
holder. If your Hoover upright has a door on its side which opens to
access a multi-colored layered filter, then you need the
Layered Upright Exhaust Filter or Bagless WT Exhaust Filter.
This Hoover Canister Primary Filter fits in later Hoover canister bag
chambers just behind the paper bag. This white electrostatic filter pad
measures 5 3/8" x 3 7/8" x 1/16". If you have a Hoover Dimention canister, then you need the
Dimention Primary Filter shown below. If you have
a Hoover Spirit Canister, then you need the Spirit
Primary Filter.
This Hoover Primary Filter fits just behind the paper bag in their
Dimention series canisters. This white electrostatic filter pad measures 5
3/4" x 5 1/16" x 1/16". If you have a later Hoover canister, then you need the
Canister Primary Filter shown above. If you have a
Hoover Spirit Canister, then you need the Spirit
Primary Filter.
This Hoover Primary Filter fits just behind the paper bag in their
Spirit series canisters. This white electrostatic filter pad is 4 11/16"
in diameter and 1/16" thick. If you have a later Hoover canister, then you need the
Canister Primary Filter shown above. If you have
a Hoover Dimention Canister, then you need the
Dimention Primary Filter.
This package contains twelve Hoover Canister Micro Exhaust Filters. One
fits in a holder which is inserted into a slot on top of the vacuum in the
tool storage area. Each white electrostatic filter pad measures 3" x 3" x
1/16". If you need the primary filter located behind the paper bag in these
canisters, then order the Canister Primary Filter.

This genuine Hoover Fanfold Cartridge Filter provides a large filter
media area for dry pickup with a Hoover Wet/Dry Utility Vacuum. It is 5
5/8" high with a black vinyl enclosure on one end and a thick vinyl seal
on the open end. A metal grill around the inside reinforces the filter
media. The seal has a 6 7/8" outside diameter and 5 1/2" inside diameter. If you have a Shop-Vac brand or other Wet/Dry Utility Vacuum, you might
need the Wet/Dry Vac Cartridge Filter.
