Sanitaire - A Brief Introduction

For decades, a company known as The Eureka Company manufactured household and commercial vacuums under the Eureka brand name. Their commercial division also manufactured heavy duty household and commercial vacuums under the Sanitaire name. Their red Sanitaire Commercial Uprights are well know in commercial circles and may be seen in the better hotels and restaurants. Their similar Sanitaire Heavy Duty Uprights are designed for home use while maintaining the same commercial qualities to provide outstanding cleaning and durability. Compact Sanitaire canisters are great for teaming with their uprights to add the versatility of attachments.
Recent years have seen The Eureka Company experience a name change to better reflect who they are. They continue to manufacture products with the Eureka brand name as well as the same high quality, commercial grade Sanitaire uprights and compact canisters plus they have expanded to include upscale, durable canisters and uprights in their Sanitaire System_Pro series. Many in this new series are designed and manufactured in Europe, providing far better quality and performance compared to most vacuums sold in the USA.
